convex painted dial with Roman numerals signed Griffith, Mile End Road, blued hands moon hands, 8-day fusee movement with anchor escapement, mahogany case of rich colour with brass string inlay, brass bezel, carved fan ornaments to the sides, glazed lenticle in the rounded trunk.
