Bracket clock with a brown inlaid Boulle case, signed LE VACHER À FÈCAMP.
The firegilt dial with enamelled cartouches for the hour and minute
numerals. The movement with verge escapement, duration 15 days and quarter
repeater on two bells. Alarm.
The case with ormolu mounts all stamped with the C- courronné (a crowned C).
During the theft, the bracket was NOT taken away. (see colour illustration)Dated about 1747.

Height together with the bracket approx. 70 cm. The stolen clock without bracket ca 55 cm.
